Veth RV-009
Classification Type:
Full Facial Formation — Hollow-Eyed Anthropomorphic Anomaly
Discovery Location:
Classified Zone — Weathered Shoreline Deposit
Condition:
Specimen displays moderate to heavy natural weathering across the facial surface. Numerous fine incision-like grooves, shallow impact marks, and scattered surface cavities are present throughout the formation. The right cranial region appears partially eroded, creating the impression of a section of the skull having been removed while leaving the primary facial structure intact.
Observation Status:
High Interest Specimen — Active Observation
Perceived Features:
The specimen presents a complete facial arrangement with two widely spaced ocular formations positioned high on the cranial surface. Each eye is represented by a small circular cavity located near the outer edges of the face, producing an unusually broad field of vision.
A large open oral cavity occupies the lower facial region and forms the dominant visual feature of the specimen. Several smaller indentations positioned above the mouth create the appearance of secondary facial detail, enhancing overall anthropomorphic recognition.
The right side of the cranial structure appears truncated through natural erosion, giving the impression of partial structural loss while preserving the core facial geometry. Numerous fine cuts, shallow grooves, and small depressions across the surface contribute to the appearance of prolonged environmental exposure.
Despite its simplified facial arrangement, the unusually wide eye placement and prominent open mouth create a striking expression that remains immediately recognizable under directional lighting.
